Master of Photography is awarded to the photographer who has shown excellence in capturing, creating, and printing exquisite images based on PPA standards.
2010 Master of Photography
We are pleased to announce that Marv Heston, Heston Wedding Photography
is the recipient of this year's award.
About Marv Heston:
Marv started with photography in junior high where he learned to shoot
and process his own images. In high school he became the yearbook
photographer and covering high school sports, clubs, and events. With
the support of his parents, he built a darkroom a home allowing him to
further refine his skills and style.
In college he continued his education by taking classes in art,
composition, and photography. He also learned a great deal by assisting
a Brooks graduate, John Newcombe, during shoots.
Since then, he has put in over 25 years shooting Weddings, Portraits,
and Commercial work. Marv continues his education today by being an
active member of SPPA, PPW, PPA, and WPPI.
